Chord strumming 12.11.11

Basics
Very important is to keep doing the same movement all the time with your strumming hand. The only difference between different patterns is when you actually touch the strings or not (and perhaps how loud you play them). The three mostly used time signatures are given below, step by step:
  1. For the first row you just start playing down, up, down, up, ...
  2. In the second row the places you should move your strumming hand without touching the strings are indicated in gray.
  3. The third row shows when and how you should strum the strings.
